This is the second year the meaningful program has been implemented by Coca-Cola in Vietnam. At five universities in Ho Chi Minh City — Hong Bang International University, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, Banking University, and Gia Dinh University — each school will be equipped with two bottle and can collection machines for a duration of three months.

In addition to directly collecting used plastic bottles and cans, students are also encouraged to participate in a video competition themed: "Protecting the environment starts with building and maintaining the habit of COLLECTING – SORTING – SENDING FOR RECYCLING plastic waste." For the first time, Coca-Cola Vietnam has partnered with BOTOL to install bottle and can collection machines in residential areas managed by Taisei Vietnam Asset Management Co., Ltd., and at universities in Ho Chi Minh City. Collected bottles and cans will be processed for recycling. It is expected that within the first three months, these machines will collect approximately 100,000 used bottles and cans.

The program 'Reborn Plastic Bottles – A Continuing Journey' is continuing into its second year, aiming to raise awareness of the benefits of collection and recycling and to encourage practical action from the community.
